It has been a busy\u00a0spring for all of our travel teams and we will soon have a well needed\u00a0summer break for a few weeks. But first it’s time for the Swedish championships! This year they will be held in Norrk\u00f6ping and hosted by the amazing Norrk\u00f6ping Roller Derby<\/a> (who will themselves play a qualifying game against Stockholm BSTRDs). The\u00a0Swedish championships \u00a0consists of the teams that finished top four in this seasons’ Elitserien, where Crime City won after some hard fought games. We are therefore seeded as number 1 and will start off by going up against seed 4,\u00a0Lule\u00e5 Roller Derby<\/a>, while Dock City Rollers<\/a> (seed 2) will take on Gothenburg Roller Derby<\/a> (seed 3). And that’s all we know for now!<\/p>\n

Crime City has played the final for all three years but lost to Stockholm Roller Derby<\/a> everytime. Since the last\u00a0Swedish championships we have gotten so much stronger (and even won over Stockholm twice since) and this year we are determined to bring home the gold.<\/p>\n
